The sole of the boot will raise your foot about 1 to 1.5 inches off the ground.
For the HIGH TOP BOOT:
The top of the boot will come to about 2-3 inches below your knee cap. Depending on your leg length. Long legs, about 3 inches, shorter legs about 2 inches.
For the LOW TOP BOOT:
The top of the boot will come to about 1-2 inches above your ankle bone.
Boot sides are made of a very durable plastic.

I am happy with my new cam walker. I have a chronic problem with my ankle (torn tendon in the past) that requires the use of crutches or boot cast once-in-awhile. My old cam walker wasn''t much good anymore (and it isn''t made anymore), so I tried another from a medical supply pharmacy which didn''t work. Then I got another from my orthopedic surgeon''s clinic (paid for but only used one day.) When I called to report the discomfort, the nurse suggested looking on the Internet for one. Luckily I saw one on your web site that resembled my old boot & took a chance. It paid off, so thanks.

Good Value Ossur Walker

I have used this Fracture walker boot for two weeks now and I have found it to be very comfortable and easy to put on and off. My pain has been greatly reduced. The Ossur model is a great value compared to many other higher priced cast walkers.
