Why choose Delta Dry over other brands of waterproof padding.
Delta Dry has the conformity of traditional cast padding with a soft feel. AquaCast/Gore Procel tends to bunch up, creating an uncomfortable wrinkled cast.
Easy cast removal, Delta Dry does not require special tools such as Cast Stop/Deflex Stip that AquaCast/Procel requires due to their thin cast material. Delta Dry is a thicker softer cast padding.
Strip Not needed with Delta-Dry.
Each roll of Delta-Dry waterproof cast padding is individually packaged keeping it sanitary.
Choosing a Delta Dry waterproof cast is easy.
A waterproof cast is simply made up of two components.
1. Waterproof Padding and 2. Fiberglass casting tape.
With Delta Dry you only need to choose a size for how much padding is needed. You can also add Fiberglass tape to your padding kit as well.
Step#1. CHOOSE the correct waterproof padding amounts for the patient.
Step#2. Choose to add Fiberglass casting tape to your kit (Optional)
(EXTRA CHARGE ADD ON) and then Choose the Color of tape.
(Note: Doctors do carry this in their office. However, they may not have the color you want or they could run out of it. This way you guarantee you have the color you want.)
YOU MUST ADD FIBERGLASS CASTING TAPE TO THE KIT
IT IS NOT INCLUDED
or AUTOMATICALLY ADDED,
IT IS AN EXTRA CHARGE ADD ON .
We often have more color choices than your doctor may be able to provide for you.
So you may want to add the casting tape to your kit.
(Infant to 5yrs)- Come with 2-2" rolls of casting tape.
(6 yrs-10 yrs) and (11- 14 yrs) - Come with 3-2" rolls of casting tape.
(15-19 yrs) and (Adult male)- Come with 1-3" Roll and 2-2" rolls of casting tape.
Step #3.Downloading the instructions and taking them to your doctor.
We have decided to save our trees and only offer the instructions via download to computer. The following link provides you with complete information for application.
I tried both the aqua cast and Delta dry in my recent cast changes. I prefer the feel of the DeltaDry. It does not get bunched up over time nor does it discolor.

Deltra Dry is the way to go
Comments:
Review : I have used procell (or its predecessor) for both a full arm cast and for a short leg cast. For the second short leg cast I decided to try the Delta Dry material. This week I''''ve been in our lake twice, for an hour each time. The material doesn''''t absorb water and drains fairly quickly. As well or better than the quilted materials. It also provides more padding. Just being able to shower w/o wrapping a cast up is worth it. I wouldn''''t consider getting a cast without using delta dry.

Delta dry was a comfortable cast, did not bunch up. Was very waterproof and easy to dry. Also glad I added the cast tape. My doc only had two colors in stock.
