Description
2 INCH Tubular Cast Stockinette used during cast application. (75 feet FULL ROLL)
OrthoTape's 2-inch tubular stockinette is ideal for the arm cast. It also works great as an undersleeve for any brace to keep the sweat from your wrist brace. Make your cast look great with this color stockinette.
Our 2-inch compression stockinette is a high thread count, synthetic tubular sleeve bandage that maximizes support and minimizes constriction. Synthetic tubing sleeve provides good compression and support as a liner for the skin when worn under compression wraps, knee braces, amputee products, as wound dressing, and orthopedic casts. It is also commonly used as a pull sock for applying arm or AK prosthetic sockets.
Available in Black, White, Dark Blue, Light Pink, Hot Pink, Grey, Purple, & Red!
Shipping Note: Products may be consolidated to ensure the quickest shipping at no extra cost to you the customer. Consolidating the product means taking it out of its original boxing to fit into an appropriate size package to keep costs down.
Note for sizing: Need to know what size stockinette to order? Measure the circumference of your leg or arm. Stockinette is measured in width so basically, it is the diameter value. So you would double the value. For example, 3" stockinette has a circumference of 6", 4" stockinette has a circumference of 8". Stockinette will stretch some, so you have about 0.5 to 1 inch of a stretch to that circumference value.
What is 2" stockinette used for?
We recommend using a 2-inch stockinette for casting an infant, toddler, or child.
You can try to use 1 inch as there is some stretch for infants, but we recommend you try 2 inches if you are putting it on an infant's arm or leg.
What if I only want a few feet of stockinette?
We sell stockinette by the foot.
Is this waterproof, can I use it with waterproof padding?
We do not recommend it as it will take longer for your waterproof cast to dry. We do sell water proof stockinette. Search for "Waterproof" in the search bar above.
I've had this brace once before, its great bec. you can wear it w/ sandals if you want! I'm not crazy about the fact that you have to provide your own glue, and the calf strap does NOT stay adhered to the velcro dots during use, I had to put super glue on them. I don't remember that issue when I had this brace in 2015. Otherwise, it works great! Lifts my foot really excellently.
