New innovative waterproof cast, sometimes called a swim cast, uses standard fiberglass cast tape but features a special new revolutionary futuristic waterproof cast liner or waterproof padding underneath. This lets many patients shower with a cast or even swim with a cast, as long as their doctor approves. We carry AquaCast, Delta Dry, and our recommended option, OrthoH2O. These products are used by your medical provider to build a true waterproof arm cast or waterproof leg cast – they are not a removable plastic cast cover, but part of the cast itself.
