Medical Stockinette for Casting

Medical stockinette is the essential first layer in any orthopedic cast application. Applied directly against the skin before cast padding and fiberglass or plaster casting tape, tubular stockinette for casting wicks moisture, protects skin, and provides a smooth, comfortable base layer that helps the finished cast conform properly.

Stockinette for casting is also widely used under bracing products — including CAM walkers and knee braces — to keep the brace clean, sanitary, and comfortable against the skin during extended wear.
