Our 3-inch tubular cast or brace undersleeve is perfect for the arm or leg cast. This thick fabric is the first liner of cast materials used in making an orthopedic cast.

OrthoTape 3-inch compression stockinette is a high thread count, synthetic tubular sleeve bandage that maximizes support and minimizes constriction. Synthetic tubing sleeve provides good compression and support as a liner for the skin when worn under compression wraps, knee braces, amputee products, as wound dressing, and orthopedic casts. It is also commonly used as a pull sock for applying arm or AK prosthetic sockets.
Shipping Note: Products may be consolidated to ensure the quickest shipping at no extra cost to you the customer. Consolidating the product means taking it out of its original boxing to fit into an appropriate size package to keep costs down.
Note for sizing: Need to know what size stockinette to order? Measure the circumference of your leg or arm. Stockinette is measured in width so basically, it is the diameter value. So you would double the value. For example, 3" stockinette has a circumference of 6", 4" stockinette has a circumference of 8". Stockinette will stretch some, so you have about 0.5 to 1 inch of a stretch to that circumference value.
What is a 3" stockinette used for?
We recommend using a 3-inch stockinette for casting an arm or a leg for teenagers and adults.
What if I only want a few feet of stockinette?
We sell stockinette by the foot.
Is this waterproof, can I use it with waterproof padding?
We do not recommend it as it will take longer for your waterproof cast to dry. We do sell waterproof stockinette. Search for "Waterproof" in the search bar above.
This is a really terrible product. Completely unusable. Tried cutting it so that it would fit over my neck collar and the entire thing peeled and disintegrated. What a mess!
I am so sorry this did not work for you. The product will not stretch that far to go over the head and be used for the neck. It is only a 3-inch stockinette, so it is more for the arm or leg of a smaller adult. We do sell larger sizes, such as 6-inch and 8-inch stockinette.

I am so thankful to find this product on line
I am so thankful to find this product on line. I had surgery and cannot drive. The surgeons office didn’t give me enough of these stockinette and with this product I now have plenty and can have a clean one every day!!

Hi, There. I am sorry this product did not work for you. You may want to try the 3 inch size as 4 inch is much larger in size. As for the shipping cost. that is the minumum charge USPS has on small packages. You cannot ship anything cheaper than at that cost. USPS charges for the delivery.

Easy process

I’m not sure it will work. The issue is with my husband’s neck “drop” due to Parkinson’s. To keep his head up like it should, the back side of the brace isn’t resting on his back but up and bothering his shoulder. It’s soft enough, but I’m just not sure it’s get right.
