NOTE: This stockinette is NOT waterproof, please do not add it to a waterproof cast.
What is a 1" stockinette used for?
We recommend using a 1-inch stockinette for fingers or the thumb area of a short arm cast. If casting a toddler or infant, you can try to use 1 inch as there is some stretch, but we recommend you try 2 inches if you are putting in on an infant arm or leg.
Is this sold in bulk as well?
Yes, We have this also sold by the box (75 feet per roll) and much more economical.
We only sell it by the foot if you just need a small amount of it such as 5 to 10 feet.
Is this waterproof, can I use it with waterproof padding?
We do not recommend it as it will take longer for your waterproof cast to dry. We do sell waterproof stockinette. Search for "Waterproof" in the search bar above.
This is a really terrible product. Completely unusable. Tried cutting it so that it would fit over my neck collar and the entire thing peeled and disintegrated. What a mess!
I am so sorry this did not work for you. The product will not stretch that far to go over the head and be used for the neck. It is only a 3-inch stockinette, so it is more for the arm or leg of a smaller adult. We do sell larger sizes, such as 6-inch and 8-inch stockinette.

I am so thankful to find this product on line
I am so thankful to find this product on line. I had surgery and cannot drive. The surgeons office didn’t give me enough of these stockinette and with this product I now have plenty and can have a clean one every day!!

Hi, There. I am sorry this product did not work for you. You may want to try the 3 inch size as 4 inch is much larger in size. As for the shipping cost. that is the minumum charge USPS has on small packages. You cannot ship anything cheaper than at that cost. USPS charges for the delivery.

It worked awesome just as long as you put it on and then you spray the water on it. It’s easy to apply. I had to wear mine for two months. It never started smelling. It’s easy to wash it dried really fast. This product is worth every penny.
