Forearm Volar Splint Kit
Everything you need in a splint kit to make the Volar Cockup Wrist Splint. Our OrthoTape Padded Synthetic Pre-Cut Splint material is a unique quick-setting splint system that already has padding built-in. No need to add extra padding or stockinette to make the splint. Simply remove from the pouch, wet, trim, and form around the patient's limb. Then apply our self-adhesive bandages included with your kit to hold the splint in place. Allow 5-7 minutes for the splint to set and solidify.
Volar splinting is a technique for handling traumatic and non-traumatic injuries of the hand and wrist. The splint immobilizes and supports the metacarpals and carpals permitting room for swelling. The splint can be easily removed to examine wounds if necessary.
What is a volar splint used for?
The forearm volar slab splint also known as the cockup splint is a non-circumferential synthetic fiberglass shell used to temporarily immobilize fractures and soft tissue injuries of the wrist and forearm. It is used to protect the patient until a cast is applied or until surgical treatment is obtained. It can also be used for sprains and strains of the wrist.
I have a severe sprain with ligament damage. My physician loves these products to splint my ankle and it also saves you when you don’t have great insurance.

Product came defective, however, Contacted Customer Care and they were great about sending out a replacement. They apologized and as we all know, things happen. Appreciate the quick response to make it right!
The crutches, I got for my granddaughter, in the color of red was so fun. The crutches themselves worked well. Did have to get differnt underarm pads for better comfort.
My husband loves them. (He has MS) It makes him stand up straighter . Also keeping his legs in line making him walk a lot better.
I would highly recommend these braces.
