Description
The Formfit Short Air Medical Cam Walker Boot is a lightweight, affordable alternative to conventional casting, which immobilizes the foot and ankle at 90 degrees. The main benefit compared to casting is the added mobility a boot offers without the need for crutches, allowing a patient to be on their feet and carry on with their daily tasks as they can weight bear. These types of boots are also designed to be used outdoors where traditional casting cannot.
The Air Walker comprises a patented pneumatic system that increases stability while decreasing pain and swelling. The air system accommodates the swelling patterns that occur throughout the rehabilitation process. Unlike casts, the Air-Walker has been engineered with a unique shock-absorbing sole; this reduces impact from the heel strike and improves comfort during ambulation.
Incorporated into the sole of the walker is a wide rocker bottom that is fitted with an anti-slip tread, which increases stability and helps to promote a natural gait. The Low Top range is designed for use in foot problems where the ankle is unaffected.

The video shows the Low top Non-Inflated version. It is very similar to this low-top boot except this one has an inflatable bladder.

The air pump lasted 5 days! The brace basically dug a whole in my shin which caused a painful bruise. So now I can't get the brace tight enough
Terrible product
The first time applying the casting material, the 2 in rolls were setting before they ever even made it from the water to my arm. So it was difficult to apply, and could not get either roll to stick and form/set properly. All of which hurt my arm from the movenents.
However, the 3 roll was MUCH better and worked great. Only wish there were 2 rolls of the 3 vs the 2. Overall not a bad product, but am going to try out the orthoneal instead of repurchasing delta dry.
My 3 year old broke his arm and the cast they put on him was a nightmare. The first couple days wearing the hospital cast I knew there had to be something better. I did some searching and came across the waterproof cast. I ordered it and took it to his doctor and asked to put it on. At first they said “NO” but another doctor there heard what I wanted and she has been on the hospital for awhile now to order a waterproof cast and she was wanting to see how they did, so she replaced the old cast with the one I ordered. I can’t wait to show them how great it is. My son has be swimming, fishing ( which leads to getting muddy) and the cast has been awesome. No stressing about getting it wet or dirty. We can just rinse it off!!
