DeSoutter (3950) 2½” (64mm diameter) Circular Titanium Nitride Coated Cast Saw Replacement Blade (each) is known for its top quality, durability, and long-lasting coating. This Cast Saw Replacement Blade is coated with Titanium Nitride to produce the toughest cutting surface possible. Titanium Nitride (TIN Coat) is about three times stronger than standard Stainless Steel and two times harder than Ion Nitride. Titanium Nitride Ion has an extremely hard ceramic coating that allows the edge of the blade superior longevity. It has a coefficient of friction of around (0.4 - 0.9 COF), allowing it to reduce heat buildup. The Titanium Nitride Coated Blade is very comparable in strength to a Dicronite blade but at a more economical price. These replacement blades are compatible with DeSoutter CleanCast Saw models CC4, CC5, and CC6. It is ideal for cutting Plaster, Fiberglass, and Polyester cast tapes.
Blades have an "easy fit" pentagon mounting hole. Circular blades can be rotated up to five times to maximize their useful life.
