BSN Medical Dicronite Cast Saw Cutter Blade Replacement

Dicronite-coated blades are manufactured with stainless steel and coated to improve the cutting process and extend the life of the blade. The universal blade fits both pin and hex hub designs.

Dichronite blade (coated)
Another very effective blade coating is Tungsten Disulfide, or “Dichronite”. It is dry film lubrication applied to stainless steel blades under high air pressure. The steel blade “accepts” the coating as it bonds exceedingly well, causing a very lubricious surface when the treatment is complete. Other extremely hard compounds and elements such as Boron have also been used in this manner with much success. These types of coatings afford users lower cost performance attributes such as extended blade life and cooler cutting temperatures.

Fits: Stryker 840 style saws and American Orthopedic Pin or HEX cast saws.

Great Brace!

I've had this brace once before, its great bec. you can wear it w/ sandals if you want! I'm not crazy about the fact that you have to provide your own glue, and the calf strap does NOT stay adhered to the velcro dots during use, I had to put super glue on them. I don't remember that issue when I had this brace in 2015. Otherwise, it works great! Lifts my foot really excellently.
