The Formfit Tall High Top Air Inflated Medical Cam Walker Boot is a lightweight, affordable alternative to conventional casting, which immobilizes the foot and ankle at 90 degrees. The main benefit compared to casting is the added mobility a boot offers without the need for crutches, allowing a patient to be on their feet and carry on with their daily tasks as they can weight bear. These types of boots are also designed to be used outdoors where traditional casting cannot.
The Air Walker comprises a patented pneumatic system that increases stability while decreasing pain and swelling. The air system accommodates the swelling patterns that occur throughout the rehabilitation process. Unlike casts, the Air-Walker has been engineered with a unique shock-absorbing sole; this reduces impact from the heel strike and improves comfort during ambulation.
Incorporated into the sole of the walker is a wide rocker bottom which is fitted with anti-slip tread, which increases stability and helps to promote a natural gait. The Low Top range is designed for use in foot problems where the ankle is unaffected.

Online purchase was easy and received my order in two days as purchased. Boot was great quality and exactly as advertised. I liked the boot and it was very comfortable. I had to get the tall boot because I had an ankle fracture. I guess if you only have a foot fracture you can get the low top size. It was the lowest price I could find even beat Amazon. It arrived in 2 days so I was happy I did not have to pay for faster shipping. The size is perfect, I got the medium as I am a size 10 and my toes stop a little before the end. So it was a perfect fit for me.

I bought this because my insurance didn't cover one for my stage 2 sprain and the local place wanted 3x the price. I am very very pleased with it. It came very quickly and is actually quite comfortable. The only problem I have with it is the two Velcro straps across the feet are so long that they hang over and catch on my pants at times. But this has only been since the swelli g has gone down. A walking boot in the past I had left bruises. This one has not left bruises and gives a much more secure hold and keeps my injury more secure. Thank you!
