The boot night splint is the most common among the night splint treatment options. The boot style night splint is designed with a rigid, plastic outer layer and a soft inner layer and provides the most adjustable angle of flexion. This type of night splint is designed for the back of the leg and is very effective for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and heel pain.  Worn on the back of the foot/ankle area. Tread on bottom for walking.
