So, it is not necessary to add extra padding or stockinette to make the splint. Remove from pouch, wet, trim, and form around the patient's limb. Then apply our self-adhesive bandages with your kit to hold the splint in place. Allow 5-7 minutes for the splint to set and solidify.

Ulnar gutter splints are used for fractures and severe sprains to the fourth and fifth metacarpals and phalanges (ring and pinky fingers). Radial gutter splints are used for fractures and severe sprains to the second and third metacarpals and phalanges (pointer and middle fingers). Took 2 applications

The first time applying the casting material, the 2 in rolls were setting before they ever even made it from the water to my arm. So it was difficult to apply, and could not get either roll to stick and form/set properly. All of which hurt my arm from the movenents.

However, the 3 roll was MUCH better and worked great. Only wish there were 2 rolls of the 3 vs the 2. Overall not a bad product, but am going to try out the orthoneal instead of repurchasing delta dry.
