The CC8 is now the gold standard in cast cutter saws. It combines the latest features in technology with a functional, ergonomic handgrip, and changes to the exterior case to ensure the handpiece fits comfortably in your hand while providing the ideal cutting position. Ergonomics and balance are further improved by a shift in the center of gravity with the hose angled downward. Weight is distributed evenly to increase maneuverability and helps to reduce user wrist fatigue. The operating switch is ergonomically positioned and conveniently located allowing the tool to be activated easily, while the soft start functionality reduces noise, helping to minimize patient anxiety. The CC8 saw requires a low-voltage power supply which is included and uses a medically rated switch mode power supply that ensures the cast cutter's speed remains constant and improves the overall cutting performance. The power supply unit can be bench-mounted with suitable fixings provided. The new compact power supply no longer requires overload and reset switches. Two blades are supplied as standard with each cast saw (19610, 20280).
