Frequent Question: Can I just use regular casting tape and do the same thing?
You can use regular casting tape for repair or hobby work. But Fix It wrap was designed better and stronger. Our fiberglass tape has a higher resin (polyurethane) content. So that allows it to stick better to things such as plastics. It also has a higher weave or tread count. So that makes the fiber tape much stronger. Normal cast tape can be torn easily when it is still wet and also when it is dry. Whereas Fix It wrap is very strong from to start and at the finish. There are many people out there who just use regular casting tape for hobby use. But if you need something to adhere better and to be stronger. Give the Fix It Wrap a try. We guarantee you will be happy with it!

I have a potato fork with a handle that started to crack. The repair took less time to achieve than it took to open the package and read the instructions. You can get a smooth finish on the repair by using vinyl tape.
GREAT PRODUCT.

Good product at a good price
Used this wrap to repair a cracked wooden handle on a garden tool. It took some muscle to unroll the tape while wrapping the break, but it cured nicely and has made the handle solid again.
It’s really like wearing a high top tennis shoe.
Walking in it is a breeze, I actually enjoy wearing it because it really relieves the pain of my broken foot.
As I am not equipped to assemble the brace it is presently of no use. I will be looking to find someone with the expertise to assemble the brace.
Thank you for sharing. Our Afo Light and Afo Dynamic are industry leaders in this style of bracing. Depending on the patient indication and secondary conditions it would be better for you to visit an Orthopedic & Prosthetic (O&P) clinic where a clinician can formally contour and mold the brace. The Afo light is malleable but should be modified under the supervision of a clinic. If there is mild to moderate drop foot, this product could be a viable option out of the box.
So in your case, you should really work with your O&P to have this brace fitted correctly. This way the brace will work properly for you.
