Introducing the New CC7 — Complete Cast Cutter With Vacuum System

The CC7 is now the gold standard in cast cutter saws. DeSoutter listened to their customers and improved the most important aspects of the new CleanCast™ system. It combines the latest features in technology with a functional, ergonomic handgrip, and changes to the exterior case to ensure the handpiece fits comfortably in your hand while providing the ideal cutting position.

Ergonomics and balance are further improved by a shift in the center of gravity with the hose angled downward. Weight is distributed evenly to increase maneuverability and reduce user wrist fatigue. The dust extraction path is internally ducted through the handpiece, which improves visibility and handling significantly when compared to conventional saws fitted with extraction.

The operating switch is ergonomically positioned and conveniently located allowing the tool to be activated easily, while the soft start functionality reduces noise, helping to minimize patient anxiety. The CC7 power supply is integrated within the dust extraction unit and uses a medically rated switch mode power supply that ensures the cast cutter's speed remains constant and improves the overall cutting performance.

An ergonomic easy-to-operate finger switch is located on the handpiece.

Durable Extraction Hood

A durable PETG material — the same used in baby bottles — has been used for the extraction hood, ensuring safety and longevity.

State-of-the-art brushless motor technology reduces weight while delivering 138 Watts of power — an increase of 38%. Improved motor housing adds vibration-absorbing material and acoustic baffles to reduce noise.

Blade Design Efficiency

A new premium Zirconium Nitride blade coating has been developed, ensuring each blade lasts longer and cuts faster.

Tapered Lock Design

The 'tapered lock' is a simple principle that ensures all lost motion is eliminated by applying a wedge to components that need to move in unison, reducing noise and vibration significantly and allowing for toolless blade loading.

Maneuverability and Stability

The 5-wheel, stable, lockable extraction stand provides effortless handling across any clinical environment.

Ergonomic Handle and Tool Storage Tray

The handle height was raised to improve usability. The integrated tool storage tray conveniently stores scissors, cast spreaders, and other accessories including the vacuum nozzle. Improved hose storage and ergonomic cable tidy hooks are included.

Vacuum Nozzle

A unique vacuum nozzle is provided that simply clicks onto the cast cutter hood for fast, clean setup.

Improved HEPA Filter Technology

A higher degree of filtration with less inventory. The extractor now features a superior 2-level filtration system. A tough polyester filter provides added protection to the extractor head in case of a dust bag leak or rupture.

The HEPA dust bags (sold separately) ensure particles over 0.3 microns are captured. The dust bag capacity has increased to 10L and now comes with a sealing cover to prevent dust from escaping during bag changes.
