The Ossur Formfit Short CAM Walking Boot (Non-Inflated) is a lightweight, low-profile controlled ankle motion (CAM) boot designed for ankle fractures, foot injuries, toe fractures, and post-operative rehabilitation. The short low-top design is ideal for forefoot and midfoot conditions where a full-height boot is not required. No air bladder or pump needed. Short vs. Tall — Which height do I need?
- This boot (Short Low-Top) — Lower profile, better for forefoot injuries, toe fractures, metatarsal fractures, or when less ankle restriction is needed.
- Tall High-Top version — Extends higher above the ankle for greater immobilization. Best for ankle fractures, severe sprains, or Achilles injuries.

CAM walking boots are designed to accommodate a range of shoe sizes — not a single perfect fit. The extra room allows for bandaging, swelling, post-surgical dressings, and thick socks common during recovery.
- Choose the smaller size if swelling is minimal — snugger fit.
- Choose the larger size if you have significant swelling, thick bandaging, or a cast underneath.

📏 Method 2 — Measure Your Foot Length (Most Accurate)
Measuring your actual foot length in inches gives you the most accurate size.
- Place a blank piece of paper on a hard floor.
- Stand on the paper with your heel touching a wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the heel line to the toe mark in inches.
- Use the table below to find your boot size.
Tip: If you have swelling or a cast sock, add ¼"–½" and size up.
