The DonJoy (DJO Global) EXOS Short Arm Fracture Brace is designed to support and protect against fractures and injuries to the wrist and forearm. It features the BOA® adjustable closure system for micro-adjustable circumferential control and a reformable shell that can be heat-molded for a more custom fit.

Wrap the tape loosely around your hand to measure your size and compare it to the chart below. Upsizing is recommended if you measure between sizes or prefer a looser fit. Important: EXOS braces are intended to be fitted and remolded by trained medical professionals. Heating/molding performed outside medical guidance may affect fit, safety, and warranty coverage. Many have successfully heated these items on their own using a home oven and wrapping the brace in a damp towel, but we cannot cover this under warranty if it is not done by a trained medical professional.

Clinician heating notes (manufacturer guidance):
Heat to 200°F (93°C) for ~3–4 minutes (until pliable, not too hot to handle).
Do not fully tighten BOA until brace returns to room temperature (helps prevent indentations).
Do not overtighten—excessive pressure can irritate skin.

Best Product on the Market
Extremely fast application. Provides completely intimate fit. Easy for patient's to put on and tighten. Greatest amount of adjustability possible to accommodate for fluctuations in swelling via the Boa closure. My hand therapy patients are as safe as possibly as they recover from fractures, tendon and ligament injuries or until they can be seen by hand surgeon-which can be a couple of months in our area.
