Yes. When fiberglass comes in contact with the skin it can irritate.
How do you get fiberglass tape off of your hand/finger?
You can use ACETONE-based nail polish on the area affected to get the fiberglass tape off.
Is Fiberglass tape waterproof?
Yes! Fiberglass tape is waterproof. However, the padding and stockinette for the non-waterproof cast kits are not.
