How OrthoH2O Technology Works
OrthoH2O's revolutionary Aerosliver™ yarn creates a waterproof barrier that protects the cast while allowing skin to breathe. The Quick-Wick Technology™ actively pulls moisture away from the skin surface, preventing maceration and maintaining patient comfort throughout the healing process.
Antimicrobial Protection: Silver ions embedded in the yarn naturally inhibit bacterial and fungal growth, reducing odor and infection risk – a critical advantage for patients wearing casts for extended periods.
Patient Compliance: By allowing normal bathing and water activities, OrthoH2O significantly improves patient satisfaction and compliance with casting protocols.
Application Instructions
- Select an appropriate width based on limb size and cast location (see videos below)
- Apply OrthoH2O stockinette directly to clean, dry skin. Do not apply any other materials other than fiberglass casting tape with OrthoH20.
