- Slide your foot into the brace with your heel seated firmly at the back.
- Pull the strap snugly across the top of the foot and secure. Firm but not tight enough to restrict circulation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Aircast A60 ankle support used for?
The Aircast A60 is used for mild to moderate ankle sprains, chronic ankle instability, and prophylactic (preventive) support during sports. It is commonly recommended for athletes returning to activity after a sprain and for people with recurring ankle rollover.
Is the Aircast A60 left or right specific?
Yes. The A60 is anatomically designed and is available in Left and Right versions. You must select the correct side at checkout — a left brace cannot be worn on the right foot.
What size Aircast A60 do I need?
Size is based on shoe size. Small fits Men's up to 7 / Women's 5–8.5. Medium fits Men's 7.5–11.5 / Women's 9–13. Large fits Men's 12+ / Women's 13.5+.
Can I wear the Aircast A60 inside my shoe?
Yes. The A60 is specifically designed with a low profile to fit inside most lace-up athletic footwear. It is thinner than traditional stirrup braces and is intended to be worn inside the shoe during activity.
How tight should the Aircast A60 be?
The strap should be snug enough to hold the brace firmly against the ankle without restricting circulation. You should be able to slide one finger under the strap. If your foot feels numb or tingly, loosen the strap.
Is the Aircast A60 good for basketball and sports?
Yes. The A60 was designed for athletic use. The rigid stabilizers are molded at a 60-degree angle to control inversion (rollover) without restricting natural forward motion, making it suitable for basketball, volleyball, soccer, and other court and field sports.
What is the difference between the Aircast A60 Black and White?
The Black and White versions are identical in function and fit — the only difference is color. Note that White is not available in Large Left per manufacturer SKU availability.
