I have De Quervain’s tenosynovitis flare ups to this day even though I had tendon release surgery almost 8 years ago. I also had a trapeziectomy (removal of trapezium bone) due to arthritis at the same time.
Unfortunately I am one of the very few for which the surgery did not solve the problem entirely & symptoms keep recurring . The only full relief I get is when I put my hand in a cast for a few weeks. (If I have a brace, I usually end up removing !)
The short arm cast is the only thing that provide me relief and I am willing to wear one once or twice a year to provide relief to my never ending issue.

This is just like the doctor just cheaper. My friend broke her hand and did not have insurance and did not want to go to the doctor so I bought this product after talking with her and her cousin who's husband is a sergeant. I recently purchased the Short Arm Cast Kit from this company and was so surprised to see that I was able to get very high guality casting materials that had everything I did need to put on a great cast for not much more than 2 Ace bandages would've cost me every few days. They even have step by step videos on their website showing you how to put all the layers of different types of materials, how to wrap, fold, and shape the cast for perfect comfort and healing.

I recently had a simple stable fracture of my right hand. I work in surgery so I knew an ortho surgeon I could see. He splinted it (from supplies at work) and said he would cast it if I ordered the supplies myself (and suggested this site). He did this for free, never had to use my insurance, which I appreciated. The kit arrived in a few days and he applied it for me. It came with literally everything (even gloves 😂), so grateful this was available to buy for myself online! 3M brand, so casting materials were top quality!
