Stirrup Sprained Ankle Splint Kit
Everything you need in a splint kit to make a Stirrup U-Shape Sprained Ankle Splint. Our OrthoTape Padded Synthetic Pre-Cut Splint material is a unique quick-setting splint system that already has the padding built-in. No need to add extra padding or stockinette to make the splint. Simply remove from the pouch, wet, trim, and form around the patient's limb. Then apply our self-adhesive bandages included with your kit to hold the splint in place. Allow 5-7 minutes for the splint to set and solidify.
The stirrup splint prevents inward and outward movement at the ankle (side to side)(inversion and eversion) and the posterior ankle splint keeps the ankle at a 90-degree angle (top to bottom). A posterior ankle splint goes on the back of the leg whereas a stirrup ankle splint fits around the sides of the lower legs and the foot like a stirrup. Sometimes the posterior splint and stirrup splint is applied together for even more support.

Worked Great
Much cheaper than having to go back to the doctors to get a new splint. Plenty of materials and shipped fast. Thanks
I got this brace based on the advice of my physical therapist and I'm so happy I listened. It's great and holds my knee in place to get my leg and hip muscles moving like they did before my accident. Definitely recommended!
This medical walking boot allowed me to go back to work, as my workplace does not allow open toe boots. While I believe the open toe boot supported my ankle better, this one does the job and let's me do my job.
