Stryker 864 OrthoVac Cast Removal System w/ 840 Cast Saw – Rebuilt & Refurbished

The most popular cast removal system in Stryker's history — fully rebuilt, restored to OEM specs, backed by a 1-year parts & labor warranty.

Please note: At the time of shipping, your vacuum unit will be either RED or WHITE depending on current stock. Color selection is not available.

Overview

The Stryker 864 OrthoVac Cast Removal System is widely regarded as the most popular integrated cast removal system Stryker has ever produced. This fully rebuilt system includes the Stryker 840 Cast Saw paired with a vacuum that captures cast dust particles before they become airborne. Since cast cutting generates fine airborne particles that can be hazardous to both technicians and patients, the OrthoVac system is an essential safety upgrade for any busy cast room.

When we say rebuilt, we mean it: motor and drive components are fully replaced — not just cleaned and resold.

Our Rebuild Process

OrthoTape partners with one of the most experienced Stryker rebuild companies in the country, in operation since 1984. Many of their technicians are former Stryker employees — today, even the original manufacturers refer professionals to them for parts and service. Every rebuilt unit is restored to OEM specifications, tested for safe operation, and finished to a like-new appearance before it ships.

Rebuilt vs. Refurbished — What's the Difference?

Rebuilt means the internal components — motor, drive parts — have been fully replaced and the unit restored to OEM specifications. Refurbished can mean anything from a full rebuild to a simple cleaning and cosmetic touch-up. Every saw we sell is fully rebuilt to OEM specs.

Warranty

1-year parts and labor warranty. Does not cover user error, physical damage, or drops. This cast saw is intended for cast removal only. Any other use will void the warranty.
