Frequently Asked Questions
Use 8-inch stockinette for hip spica casts, body casts, large thigh casts, and any application where a 6-inch width would be too narrow to cover the limb or torso comfortably.
A 10-foot cut is typically sufficient for one hip spica or large body cast application, with enough to fold back over the cast edges for a clean, comfortable finish.
Standard synthetic stockinette is not waterproof. For waterproof casts using OrthoH2O, AquaCast, or Delta Dry padding, use a waterproof stockinette liner instead.
