Delta Dry by BSN Essity uses a two-component approach: a water-resistant stockinette is applied first, followed by Delta Dry waterproof padding rolls, then fiberglass tape. Water passes through the system and drains freely, preventing the moisture buildup that causes traditional cotton-padded casts to soften, develop odor, and break down.

How to Apply Delta Dry Waterproof Short Arm Cast

1. Apply Delta Dry Stockinette — slip the water-resistant stockinette over the hand and forearm
2. Apply Delta Dry Padding — wrap the waterproof padding rolls smoothly from hand to below the elbow, overlapping 50%
3. Apply Fiberglass Cast Tape — wrap over the Delta Dry padding to complete the waterproof cast
