DeRoyal Hypercontrol Hinged Knee Brace – Professional-Grade Hyperextension Support
Premium orthopedic knee brace designed to prevent hyperextension injuries in professional and recreational athletes. Featuring medial and lateral hinges with adjustable patella stabilization for optimal knee protection during recovery and activity.
Product Overview
The Hypercontrol Knee Brace is the perfect choice for the professional or recreational athlete recovering from hyperextension injuries, ligament sprains, or knee instability. Hyperextension injuries occur when the knee is bent back the wrong way. The treatment recommendation for hyperextension injuries is to prevent the knee from bending backward during the healing process. The Hypercontrol Knee brace does just that.
Hinges are located on the medial and lateral sides of the knee to help prevent hyperextension. In addition, the product features a criss-cross strapping mechanism that assists in controlling hyperextension while maintaining comfort and mobility.

I have used these knee braces to deal with my hypertension of my knee for about 10 years. As with previous braces I had to adjust the brace to fit my leg such as shortening the hypertension straps. I’m satisfied with my brace as I have modified it.

This brace is exceptional!
I got this brace based on the advice of my physical therapist and I'm so happy I listened. It's great and holds my knee in place to get my leg and hip muscles moving like they did before my accident. Definitely recommended!
I have De Quervain’s tenosynovitis flare ups to this day even though I had tendon release surgery almost 8 years ago. I also had a trapeziectomy (removal of trapezium bone) due to arthritis at the same time.
Unfortunately I am one of the very few for which the surgery did not solve the problem entirely & symptoms keep recurring . The only full relief I get is when I put my hand in a cast for a few weeks. (If I have a brace, I usually end up removing !)
The short arm cast is the only thing that provide me relief and I am willing to wear one once or twice a year to provide relief to my never ending issue.
While the original delivery did not contain the correct boot, the correct one was sent very quickly once support was open. The boot is fantastic. So much better than the non inflatable one I had before ordering this one. The arch and heel support is far better than the first boot I had that was not inflatable. Being able to easily adjust the pressure throughout the day has been a god send. I would definitely recommend this boot to anyone in an injury similar to mine.
So far my Rebound Foot Up is working well. It is amazing how such a small device can make such a difference in my gait. We set it up on an outer eyelet to not only hold my toes up, but also pull my foot into a better position. My foot is hitting the floor more in line with the other. My wife noticed immediately the change in my gait and the sounds of my foot steps. I’m not “clomping” around.
We will see in a few weeks how it is working out, but so far I’m thrilled.
