Clinical Heating Protocol (Manufacturer Guidance)

  • Preheat the EXOS oven to 200°F (93°C) before inserting the brace.
  • Place the EXOS brace into the oven for approximately 3–4 minutes, or until the shell becomes pliable.
  • Remove the brace carefully — it will be warm but should not be too hot to handle with proper technique.
  • Mold the brace to the patient's limb while pliable, then allow to cool to room temperature before tightening the BOA closure.
  • Do not overtighten the BOA dial until the brace has fully cooled to prevent pressure indentations.
  • Remolding can be repeated as needed throughout the treatment period.

Important: EXOS braces are intended to be fitted and remolded by trained medical professionals. Heating and molding performed outside of medical guidance may affect fit, safety, and warranty coverage.
